Get Your Tickets Game Day Ready

Game day is right around the corner and we want to help provide a few important reminders to make your stadium entry easier. With SafeTix™ Your Phone Is Your Ticket

1.Sign into your Ticket account https://am.ticketmaster.com/Munster/

2. Tap into ‘My Events’ to view your order.

3. Add your ticket to your phone’s digital wallet, then just tap and go to get in at the gate. Tap and go is now available with Apple Wallet & Google Wallet.

4. Google Pay. Note, barcodes will not be visible once the ticket(s) is added to your Apple Wallet.

5. On Match Day, to access the Stadium simply scan your ticket by holding the back of your smartphone near the NFC reader at the turnstile or scan the rotating barcode (if you have accessed your ticket via Account Manager) at the scanner. It really is that simple!

6. If you are unable to “Add to Wallet” or your pass is disabled – Don’t worry, you can still scan the rotating\animated barcode within your ticket account at the venue but please remember, screenshots are no longer permitted for access to the stadium.

Heading to the game with friends or family?

Now is the time to transfer tickets so everyone can enter on their own. You can explore the venue, check out the concessions, and you can meet at your seats.

Stadium information

Turnstiles

There are turnstiles on both sides, Sundays Well (Tramore Road) & Dolphin Gate (Pearse Road), of the stadium so you can enter easily no matter where you are coming from. Please follow the instructions of stewards at the stadium entry points. Turnstiles will open at 6.15pm.

Stand Tickets

Please note that seating in the stand is UNRESERVED. If you have a West Stand ticket, please sit in the nearest available seat and avoid leaving empty seats in the middle of rows. Please follow the directions of the stewards on duty.

Information and Welcome Committee

Our knowledgeable Welcome Team will be able to help you with any questions you may have about the game, the stadium and the events of the day. Keep an eye out for their bright yellow jackets. They will be located around the entrances and inside the grounds.

Match Programmes will be on sale for €5 inside the grounds.

Food concessions inside the ground will also serve a variety of hot food to supporters. There will be a new food outlet located between the North and East Terrace.

There are also new male, female and wheelchair accessible toilets located between the North and East Terrace at the new Centre of Excellence building.

Munster Rugby is thrilled to announce that the Virgin Media Play Zone will be open at Munster v Edinburgh in Virgin Media Park! Kids & Adults can show off their skills and score prizes – from cool tech gadgets to jerseys, tickets, and more. The ultimate winner (over 18s) will even go on the pitch at half time and compete in our very own conversion challenge! With so much fun on offer, make sure to arrive early and join the action!

Munster Rugby Supporter Club members will distribute flags in advance of the game.

Match day Entertainment

We are delighted to welcome Emma Nash to Virgin Media Park. She will perform Stand Up and Fight before kick-off. The MRSC Guard of Honour will be present to welcome teams onto the pitch.

Munster Rugby mascot, Oscar, is looking forward to meeting all our younger supporters.

At half time we will have a mini rugby display from Castleisland RFC and Charleville & District RFC.

With thanks to our friends at Flyshannon.ie, our selfie wall will be in action with return flights to Budapest up for grabs. All you have to do is scan the QR code on screen or in the match day programme and upload your selfie. There will be some Munster Rugby filters for you to use too!

Traffic & Travel

Please be advised that the Ireland U21s vs Slovakia fixture will take place at Turners Cross on Friday evening, with kick-off at 7.30pm.

Roads leading to the stadium are expected to become heavily congested in the lead-up to kick-off. Please allow extra travel time if you are arriving or departing during this period and plan routes accordingly to avoid delays.

As both fixtures will finish at a similar time, please also expect some traffic delays after the match.

Virgin Media Park is easily accessible by public transport and is a 35-minute walk from the city centre. Supporters are advised to check their transport provider’s website in advance for the latest travel updates.

By car

There is no parking available within the stadium grounds. We kindly ask all supporters to respect local residents and avoid parking in housing areas, as vehicles obstructing entrances may be clamped or towed.

Clamping is in operation in nearby retail parks, and supporters should pay close attention to signage and avoid parking in these areas.

Free parking is available at the Black Ash Park & Ride, less than a five-minute walk from the stadium. To avail of this service, present your match ticket at the Black Ash reception before or after the game.

By train

For those travelling by train, tickets must be purchased in advance at station vending machines or online at Irishrail.com. The stadium is approximately a 45-minute walk from the station or about eight minutes by car, depending on traffic.

By bus

From the city centre, the 203 bus departs Patrick Street and stops at Virgin Media Park on the Pearse Road side.

The game will be broadcast live on TG4 and Premier Sport.
