The Munster squad are preparing at the HPC ahead of Friday’s clash against Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop (7.45pm).

Our next home game is against Zebre at Virgin Media Park on Friday, March 1, at 7.35pm with tickets available here.

In player news, Tom Ahern and Oli Jager have joined the Ireland squad ahead of the clash against Wales on Saturday. Jeremy Loughman and Conor Murray also return to Ireland camp after featuring in Friday’s win over Scarlets, joining Ireland captain Peter O’Mahony, Tadhg Beirne, Craig Casey, Jack Crowley and Calvin Nash.

On the injury front, Academy flanker Ruadhán Quinn failed a HIA in Llanelli on Friday night and will undergo the the return to play protocols.

RG Snyman also departed for a HIA against Scarlets but passed all protocols.

Continuing to rehab: Simon Zebo (knee), Patrick Campbell (shoulder), John Hodnett (finger), Paddy Patterson (knee), Jack O’Donoghue (knee), Dave Kilcoyne (shoulder), Diarmuid Barron (foot), Jean Kleyn (eye/knee), Liam Coombes (shoulder), Roman Salanoa (knee).

On the AIL front, there were 14 Munster players in action for their clubs at the weekend.

In Division 1A, three players featured in Cork Constitution’s 38-24 Munster derby victory over Shannon.

Mark Donnelly was in action for Con with Daniel Okeke and Darragh McSweeney lining out for Shannon.

Tony Butler and Fionn Gibbons helped Young Munster to a 31-24 win over UCD with Butler kicking three conversions.

In Division 1B, Scott Buckley and Andrew O’Mahony were in action for UCC in their 22-21 victory over Old Belvedere at the Mardyke.

Max Clein scored a hat-trick of tries for Garryowen and Dylan Hicks kicked six conversions as they beat Naas at Dooradoyle.

Neil Cronin was also a try-scorer with Colm Hogan, George Hadden, Cian Hurley and Jack Daly completing the Munster contingent in the squad.

Hurley made his comeback from a long-term injury in the game.
