The partnership was officially launched at Thomond Park by Munster Women’s captain Nicole Cronin and team-mates Chloe Pearse, Róisín Ormond, Claire Bennett and Stephanie Nunan.

As part of the sponsorship, M&S will be providing players with nutritious produce pre-match and during training throughout the 2023/2024 season. The partnership will also involve a collaborative programme of free educational online resources for people across Ireland to support healthy eating and living.

Commenting on the announcement, Eddie Murphy, Trading Director M&S Ireland said: “This is an exciting step for us at M&S – to work with and support such a talented group of athletes. We’re known for our quality at M&S, we are excited to partner with a team known for their quality on the pitch.

“Through our partnership with Munster Rugby, we want to help promote healthy eating and healthy choices at great value every day. Food fuels all of us, just as it fuels the Munster players.
