Munster take on Dragons at Thomond Park on Saturday in the Guinness PRO14 opener with all of the ticket and matchday information below.

Tickets for the game are available here and from the Munster Rugby Ticket Offices in Thomond Park and Irish Independent Park.

On matchday, you can buy tickets at the stadium from 9am.

Please note the North and South Terrace are not open for this game.

Pre-Match Entertainment & Half-Time Mini Rugby

Newcastle West’s own Brian Hartnett will perform Stand Up and Fight just before kick-off and the MRSC Guard of Honour will be present to welcome teams onto the pitch.

At half-time, the U11s from Killarney RFC and Kilfeacle & District RFC will display their rugby skills.

We will have pairs of tickets for Munster’s next home game v Ospreys up for grabs in our half time Dizzy Kicks competition.  Check out the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Facebook page for more details.


Open from 1pm our covered Pavilion in the Fanzone is a great pre-match meeting point, and you can soak up the atmosphere in the Guinness Dug Out Bar which also opens from 1pm. Come and meet the players in the Fanzone from 2:15pm. There will be lots to enjoy in the Fanzone including the Bank of Ireland Family Funzone and our mascot Oscar is looking forward to meeting our younger supporters too.

The Munster Rugby Museum Experience is open from 1.30pm right up to kick-off.

The Life Style Sports store will be open at the Stadium from 1pm you have a choice of 3 locations; the main store and mobile unit in the East Stand and the mobile unit at the West Stand.

Gates open at 1:30pm with all bars and food outlets inside the ground open at the same time. Contactless payments are available at all stadium bars and at selected food outlets in Thomond Park.

Please note:

  • No one will be permitted to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink/ water containers on entering the stadium.
  • Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations
  • There will be stewards and security onsite to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.

The 302 bus service from Henry Street runs every half hour from 17.30 and has a drop-off at Thomond Park. Full bus service details see www.buseireann.ie.

Please note there is no parking in the vicinity of Thomond Park.

Dublin Coach run a service to Limerick, with drop off on Arthur’s Quay. For full service detail see www.dublincoach.ie
