Trio Set For Thomond Return
29th September 2016 By Munster Rugby
Showing no ill effects from a return to full training, Munster trio Peter O’Mahony, Simon Zebo and Tommy O’Donnell will feature for Munster this Saturday as the province faces Zebre at Thomond Park in round 5 of the Guinness PRO12.
Following an extended spell on the sidelines, fans and players alike will be delighted to see the return of squad captain O’Mahony who, after rupturing his ACL in Ireland’s historic win over France at the World Cup last October, will make his first Munster appearance since May 2015.
Meanwhile Zebo has successfully rehabbed the rib injury that saw him miss the last three PRO12 encounters and O’Donnell has completed his return to play protocols for a concussion sustained against Cardiff in round 2.
All three players will be involved this weekend with Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus to name his full matchday 23 at midday tomorrow.
Please note this game will not be televised.
