Stander, Murray & Earls To Start Final Test

Conor Murray will win his 50th Irish cap alongside his Munster teammates CJ Stander and Keith Earls who both return to the starting XV for this weekend’s Summer Series decider against South Africa in Port Elizabeth.

Having all featured in Ireland’s first victory over the Springboks on South African soil just under a fortnight ago, the Munster trio and their international teammates will hope to create even more history on Saturday by becoming the first Irish side to achieve a Test Series win in South Africa, and become the first touring side to do so since the British and Irish Lions in 1997.

Rory Best will captains the side and is re-joined in the front row by Mike Ross and Jack McGrathDevin Toner and Iain Henderson reunite in the second row with Jordi Murphy and Stander returning to the backrow to link up with Jamie Heaslip at No.8.

Murray continues his partnership with Paddy Jackson at half-back while Luke Marshall returns to the side and switches to outside centre with Stuart Olding retaining the No.12 jersey.  Tiernan O'Halloran is named at fullback with Andrew Trimble and Earls on the wings.

The final Test will be broadcast live on SKY Sports this Saturday and kicks off at 4pm (Irish).
