Podcast: Warwick Looks Ahead To Stade

Not many can claim to have played for both Munster and Stade Francais. Paul Warwick is one such player. The former playmaker previews what the squad and fans alike can expect in Paris this weekend, reflects on his time in red, and tell us what he’s up to these days in his native Australia.

Joining Munster from neighbouring province Connacht in 2007, the versatile out-half/full-back went on to make 95 appearances and score 461 points for Muster across four seasons.  After picking up Heineken Cup and Magners League medals in ‘08 and ’09 respectively, he went on to play a pivotal role in Munster’s win over Australia in 2010 while his last outing for the province saw him secure another league medal when Munster defeated Leinster at Thomond Park in the 2011 Grand Final.

Moving to this weekend’s opposition – Stade Francais – the following season, Warwick spent two years in Paris, making 49 appearances for the French outfit and scoring 40 points.
