Johnny Holland returns to a Munster side for the first time in over a year as he starts for the Munster Development XV today against Ireland U20s at Irish Independent Park, ko 1pm.

Holland who tore his hamstring in the British and Irish Cup game against Nottingham at the end of November 2014 underwent an extended period of rehabilitation after set-backs kept him sidelined for over a year. The out-half is the only senior squad member in today’s side with the game providing the Cork-man with the timely opportunity for a return to action.

Today's squad is managed by the Munster A management team and the side includes a mix of academy, club players a number of Munster's Interprovincial winning U20 representatives.

The Greencore Academy’s Stephen Fitzgerald, Dan Goggin, Ryan Foley, Rory Burke, Ben Kilkenny and Ollie Lyons are named in the starting XV while Brian Scott, Tomás Quinlan, Gearoid Lyons and Steven McMahon are included in the replacements.

With the U20s representatives up against their age-grade counterparts today the squad includes nine of the Interprovincial winning Munster U20s squad with Colm Hogan, Paul Kiernan, Shane Fenton, Barry O’Byrne and Evan Mintern starting and Shane O’Hanlon, John Poland, Shane Daly and David O’Mahony named in the replacements.
