Schmidt Includes 7 Munster Players For Welsh Clash

Ireland Head Coach Joe Schmidt has named his side to face Wales for this Saturday’s World Cup warm-up friendly against Wales at the Aviva Stadium and includes seven Munster players in his matchday 23 – KO 2.30pm.

Paul O'Connell returns to captain the side from the second row in his last international on home soil while Peter O’Mahony and Conor Murray make their first appearances in green since helping Ireland retain their 6 Nations title earlier this year.

Following a Man of the Match performance last time out against the Welsh, Keith Earls moves to the left wing for this weekend’s return encounter.

Munster’s Dave Kilcoyne, Donncacha Ryan and Felix Jones are also in line to feature after being named amongst the replacements.
