O’Connell And Conway Swing Into Action For St Gabriels

Munster’s Paul O’Connell and Andrew Conway last week took some time out after training to lend support to the annual St Gabriel’s Golf Classic.

In existence in 1961 and now located in Dooradoyle, Limerick, St.Gabriel’s School & Centre provides education and a range of essential health-related therapies and interventions for up to 400 children and young adults living with multiple physical disabilities, sensory and /or developmental delay or more serious life-limiting conditions.

Munster Rugby is glad to support this worthy cause and the event which last year raised over €;14,000 for a number of worthwhile projects – the upkeep of St. Gabriel’s hydrotherapy pool, the purchase of specialised equipment and support for St. Gabriel’s special needs school.

Relying on the incomes raised from events such as the golf classic, the hydrotherapy pool is open to the public and used by many for therapy and rehabilitation purposes.

Play your part on the course by signing up today for the St Gabriel’s Annual Golf Classic, at Limerick Golf Club on Thursday 8th & Friday 9th of May. For more information and to book your place click here.
