Hayes Signs Off With A Win

Munster have come away with a 24-9 win over Connacht at Thomond Park in John Hayes’ final match for the province in Round 11 of the RaboDirect PRO12.
The home side led 6-3 after the 23rd minute thanks to two Ian Keatley penalties. This followed an impressive try from full-back Sean Scanlon, converted by Keatley bringing the score to 13-3 with 29 minutes on the clock.
Six minutes before the half time whistle O'Leary got over the line giving the home side an 18-3 lead going into the break. Two penalties followed for Keatley in the second half with the final score finishing up Munster 24 – Connacht 9.
