Rabo Returns

22nd November 2011 By Munster Rugby

Rabo Returns

After two cracking weekends of Heineken Cup rugby the RaboDirect PRO12 returns when Edinburgh visit Limerick on Saturday.

And the Michael Bradley coached side will arrive with confidence sky high after wins away to London Irish and that remarkable one last weekend when they overturned a 24 point deficit to beat Racing Metro 48-47 in Murrayfield. They scored that victory with a try from Tim Visser – that Greig Laidlaw converted – three minutes from time.

Although third from bottom in the RaboDirect PRO12 table, they had a good win in the Stadio di Monigo (Treviso) in the final game of the opening phase to add to their latest successes.

Over 48,000, easily the biggest crowd of the League to date, watched Munster against Leinster in the Aviva last time out and defeat leaves them in 3rd place. Saturday's game is crucial given that fourth and fifth placed sides, Glasgow Warriors and Cardiff Blues are both at home and could push Tony McGahan's side out of the top four for the first time in three seasons.

Munster expect to name their squad for the game after training tomorrow.
