It is anticipated that Felix Jones will return to action for the first time since mid September when Munster take on Ulster in the A Interprovincial at Shaw’s Bridge tomorrow afternoon.
Back in September, Jones suffered a knee injury in the game against Ospreys at Thomond Park having just returned from a neck injury that saw him miss most of the previous season and his return comes at a particularly opportune time as Munster push for honours on two fronts.
Also back from injury are wing forward Niall Ronan and number 8 Peter O'Mahony, both of whom trained yesterday with the squad in Limerick and likely to be making the trip north tomorrow.
Meanwhile Tom Gleeson will undergo a hernia operation on Thursday while Ian Dowling will see a specialist this week to get further clarification as he recovers from the hip injury sustained in the same game (Ospreys) that sidelined Jones.
