Munster’s British & Irish Cup fixture with Bristol scheduled for the Memorial Stadium this afternoon has been cancelled.
Munster were informed of the decision this morning and the squad who had flown in yesterday through Heathrow Airport planned their return by ferry (Fishgaurd) because of flight disruptions in Heathrow.
There was more than a little dismay that it was left so late to make the call on the state of the pitch given that a soccer game had been postponed yesterday and weather conditions hadn't improved.
