Introducing Tom Gleeson.

Just turned 24 years of age Tom Gleeson is a former Ireland Schools, Under 19 & Under 21 international.

He’s come through the Munster Academy and Development level to earn a full contract this season and plays alongside Lifeimi Mafi in the centre tomorrow against Glasgow Warriors.

Lives: Bishopstown, Cork
Educated: Presentation Brothers College Cork
First started playing rugby: At age 6 in Highfield Rugby Club.
Sportsperson admire most:  Rafael Nadal.

Toughest Opponents: Ballynahinch RFC.
Career highlight to date: Winning AIB Cup with Cork Con.
Favourite other sport: Golf, Hurling.
Favourite team outside rugby: Leeds Utd
Hobbies: Impulse purchasing.

Best part of being a pro rugby player: Getting free Wagamamas.
Worst part of being pro rugby player: Fitness sessions.
Worst job you ever had: Bouncing during college after training in the Western Star when everyone else was out

Person you would most like to meet: Paul Gascoigne.

Person you would avoid at all costs: Theres a few,….MOT on a night out
Pet hate: Cardio
Sporting event you’d most like to attend: Wimbledon
Favourite Food: Chinese.

Best place you’ve visited: Cuba
What you see yourself doing when rugby career over: Some sort of Chemistry nerdy thing

Three people you would invite to dinner and why: Jesus (because he knows everything); Will Ferrell (for the entertainment);  Tony Yeboah (I’ve always wanted to meet him).
