Munster Have It All To Do At The Arms Park

Munster will need to be at their very best this evening at the Arms Park where the Cardiff Blues have lost just once since September (10-11 to Edinburgh on January 4th) in the Magners League

Both sides are on 29 points, 12 adrift of leaders Leinster and the loser this evening can almost certainly kiss goodbye to their title aspirations.

Speaking ahead of the match Blues coach David Young said, “They are just ahead of us in the league so it’s an important game for both sides. It is also a game either team could win, but we are determined to get the right result to keep us in the title race.”

And to  mark the fifth year of regional rugby in Wales, today, St David’s Day,  the Blues are hosting Regional Clubs Day when over 43 clubs from the region will be attending the match,. Everyone who wears their club shirt to the game will receive a £5 off voucher for the Blues versus Scarlets fixture which will be played at the Arms Park on Friday 11th April at 7.10pm.

Seven teams from the region will also be parading their trophies at half time having won national competitions during the 06/07 season.

But Munster will have their share of support too with 75 members of Tralee Rugby Club taking time out of their weekend trip to the Principality to roar on their side.
