Good News For Hurley.
5th March 2007 By Munster Rugby
Good news for Munster is that the injury that Darragh Hurley sustained in the game against Cardiff Blues on Friday night is not as bad as first feared.
It is what is described as soft tissue damage and the promising young player is expected to be available for Munster’s next outing which is against Ulster in three weeks time.
Not so good however is the news of Shaun Payne who retired at half-time of that game with a hand injury. The popular South African who has been in such marvellous form all this season and last, has broken a bone in his finger. He will see a specialist in the coming days to fully ascertain the extent of the injury.
Federico Pucciariello is another who will be struggling to get back in time for the Heineken Cup clash with Llanelli Scarlets, he damaged a groin on Friday and will have further medical examination before knowing the full extent of the injury.
