Two PRO Workshops are being held for clubs in Munster next week, aimed at giving guidance to PRO’s/Media Officers in their roles.

Two PRO workshops are being held for Munster Clubs next week
The workshops are directed at Club PRO’s/Media Officers who may want further guidance regarding their roles and it will concentrate on the overall duties of the PRO role within a club.
The areas to be covered will be:
– Media contacts
– Development and presentation of storylines
– Media facilities
– Contacts within clubs
The workshops are directed at both new and experienced PRO’s and to hopefully provide further guidance in their roles. It is also an opportunity to share any ideas or experiences that you may have.
The workshops are scheduled for the following dates:
Monday, 6th February at 7.00pm: Branch Offices, Thomond Park, Limerick
Wednesday, 8th February at 7.00pm: Branch Offices, Musgrave Park, Cork
The workshops will be delivered by John Redmond of Slattery Communications, a former Sports Editor of the Irish Press Group, with over 25 years of experience in sports journalism.
All Club PRO s/Media Officers interested in attending should confirm their attendance as soon as possible to either Damon Urlich or Trish Drinan
