David Wallace returns to the Ireland starting line-up for the first time since the Japan tour (June 2005) while Jerry Flannery will make his RBS 6 Nations debut on Saturday in an Ireland side that contains 8 Munster players.
Wallace played against Japan in June 2005, a year after making his last previous appearance against South Africa in Newlands during Ireland’s summer tour.
Flannery made his international debut as a replacement against Romania in November when he came on as a replacement for Shane Byrne but his performances for Munster since then helps him see off the challenge of Rory Best for the number 2 shirt.
