Garryowen advance to a meeting with Shannon in the semi-final of the ODM Munster Senior Cup and Kilfeacle, Cobh Pirates and Skibbereen win vital Heineken Junior League games

Garryowen’s 15-10 victory over Cork Constitution will see them now meet cup holders Shannon in the semi-final on New Year’s Eve.

Clanwilliam look like qualifing for the Junior League play offs from Section A, with Kilfeacle and Cashel battling it out for the other spot. In Section B Youghal and Skibbereen also look like making the play offs, but in the third section it is a three horse race for the three positions with Cobh Pirates, Tralee and Thurles all in contention for the two places.

Mallow maintained their lead in the Third Division with a 59-0 home win over Killarney and Ballincollig kept up their challenge with a 19-6 victory over Waterford City at Tanner Park.
