Colleges Rugby News

Those of you heading to Dublin for the International may want to lend your support to the Munster Colleges Interprovincial team who play title holders Leinster in Railway Union RFC, just off Sydney Parade, at 3pm on Friday.

It s a game bound to be of huge interest to the neutral rugby observer. Munster are hoping to be third time lucky, and win their first tile, after losing out to Leinster in last year s final, and Connacht the year before. Munster have a well experienced panel, with plenty of All Ireland League experience. With Mat Te Pau, the well known senior coach currently with Old Crescent and formerly of Young Munster, helping out with the coaching duties this season, the squad is a well gelled side, with high expectations for the game.
