Munster coach Alan Gaffney is not expected to name his starting line-up for the Celtic League game against Connacht (Sportsground Dec 27th) until Thursday.

Munster coach Alan Gaffney is not expected to name his starting line-up for the Celtic League game against Connacht (Sportsground Dec 27th) until Thursday. Munster will have a final run-out in Cork that day after which the 22 for the game in Galway is expected to be announced.

The Munster squad were in Thomond Park this (Tuesday) morning for a squad session and although both .John Kelly and David Wallace were present, neither player will be considered for selection for the December 27th game.

Kelly is still suffering from the bruised bone in his ankle that he sustained in training with the national squad, an injury that has seen him out of the Munster squad since the game against Ulster in Ravenhill on November 6th.

Wallace is suffering from a neck strain.
