The Munster side for the game against Ulster in the Celtic League in Ravenhill on Saturday (5.15pm) shows 11 changes from the side that started against Neath Swansea Ospreys last weekend.

Just four players, Christian Cullen, Shaun Payne, Donncha O’Callaghan and David Wallace remain in the side with Payne switching to the right wing to accomodate James Storey at outside and David Wallace selected at number 8 in a strong back-row that includes Alan Quinlan and Denis Leamy both of whom were involved with the national squad this week.

Alan Gaffney – ” Obviously a number of squad members are not available to us because of their involvement with the national squad. We are however fortunate that we have quality players we need to give time to and this provides us with that opportunity. They can use this time to push for places in our Heineken Cup squad while others like Anthony Horgan, Jim Williams and Rob Henderson are being given a well earned rest”.
