Munster Team to Face Llanelli Announced

Alan Gaffney has made one change from the Munster side that beat Leinster bringing in Anthony Horgan, who has been unavailable due to international duties, for Friday nights game against Llanelli.

Anthony Horgan returns to the side at the expense of Mossie Lawlor who is named in the replacements.

Munster flew out to Wales today, flying from Cork to Swansea and arrived mid afternoon before making the short journey to their base, Stradey Park hotel, a stones throw from the match venue.

On arrival they had a team meeting before sitting down to an evening meal and they will visit the match venue on Friday morning.

Munster Team to Face Llanelli Scarlets:

Shaun Payne, John Kelly, Jason Jones Hughes, Rob Henderson, Anthony Horgan, Jason Holland, Eoin Reddan, Simon Kerr, James Blaney, Gordon McIlwham, Trevor Hogan, David Pusey, Jim Williams (Captain), Eddie Halvey, Stephen Keogh.

Replacements: Mossie Lawlor, Conrad O’Sullivan, Frank Murphy, Frank Roche, Jerry Flanery, Donal Sheahan, Peter Malone.

Llanelli Scarlets Provisional team:

Barry Davies (tbc), Richard Rees, Mark Taylor (tbc), Matthew Watkins, Tal Selley, Gareth Bowen, Mike Philips, Phil John, Aled Gravelle, John Davies, Vernon Cooper (capt), Chris Wyatt, David Hodges, Gareth Williams, Scott Quinnell.

Replacements: Iestyn Thomas (tbc), Adam Yelland, Adam Jones, Emyr Lewis, Dale Brn Ceiron Thomas, Daniel Rogers.

The Munster Team will be finalized on Thursday afternoon once the team arrive in Wales.
