Sunday’s Well struggling at the foot of the Second Division, caused the biggest upset, when they defeated Cork Constitution on tries after the sides finished level 22-22 after extra time (full report in Senior Cup section).

Thomond are through to their second successive semi-final, after their 9-8 win over Garryowen at Fitzgerald Park and Midleton defeated U.L. Bohemian 21-13 at Thomond Park.
