Crosshaven are still in contention, but will have to pick up some bonus points in their remaining games if they are to catch the leaders. St. Mary’s and Old Christians failed to move into a promotion place after, they played a 10-10 draw. A result that leaves Douglas still in second place on points difference from St. Mary’s, with Old Christians a point behind.

Galbally have made it eight wins out of eight and lead the Third Division two points ahead of Charleville, with Cashel not out of the running yet.

Garryowen are the new leaders of the Seconds League after their win over Waterpark and an injury hit Cork Constitution side went down to U.L. Bohemian 20-10.

It is turning out to be a four horse race for the three All Ireland qualifying places in the Under 20 League, after all four sides won at weekend. Cork Constitution lead from Buccaneers and Bruff by four points, with Garryowen a further two points behind.

In the Second Division, Newcastle West and Thurles qualified for the play offs from the Northern Section, while in the South Cobh Pirates play Clonakilty and Muskerry entertain Midleton, to see who comes out of this section.

Carrigaline reached their first ever final with a 14-3 win over Old Christians to reach the McCarthy Cup Final.
