Club: Ennis

Orna Moynihan discovered her love of rugby through tag rugby having played both camogie and Gaelic Football for club and county.

Moynihan also competed in athletics until 2021 before making the switch to rugby.

Her rugby journey with Ennis RFC and quickly progressed to trial for the Munster U18s that same year.

After two years playing underage rugby, she moved into senior women’s rugby with Ennis RFC and took part in the Munster PTS (Provincial Talent Squad) program before progressing to this year’s senior squad.

Moynihan also plays college rugby with TUS Athlone.
