Club: Fethard RFC/Carrick-On-Suir RFC/Ballincollig RFC

Growing up, Aoife played every sport there was but when older sister Katelyn started rugby at 15, Aoife and twin sister Ciara gave it a go at age 10—and never looked back.

Fleming began by playing minis rugby with Fethard, then made the move to Carrick-on-Suir RFC for underage rugby where they won back-to-back Munster Cups at U18 level, one of which she captained alongside her twin in our final year.

Aoife has also represented Munster U18s and U18 7s, and played with the Irish Clovers.

Fleming has spent the last two seasons playing Senior AIL with Ballincollig RFC and has recently started coaching with Carrick youth teams and for the past three years has been involved in coaching the Munster U16 & U18 7s.

Speaking about this opportunity she has been given Fleming said:
“It’s a huge honour to now play with the senior Munster team—something I’ve always dreamed of, especially alongside players I looked up to growing up.”
