George Murray joined Munster in June 2002 having previously been a Rugby Development Officer with Leinster, also winning AIL medals as a player with Greystones and Shannon.

He has coached at Shannon RFC, Bruff RFC, Richmond RFC and UL Bohs.

He has been Performance Analyst with Ireland U21s, Ireland A and worked with the IRFU High Performance department in 2009.

He joined the coaching team in 2022 as Technical Coach.
