The Munster squad are continuing preparations at the HPC ahead of Saturday’s URC Round 17 clash against Connacht at Dexcom Stadium (7.45pm, live on TG4 & Premier Sports).

Munster A will also be in action on Friday as they take on Connacht Eagles at Ennis RFC with a 2pm kick-off for their final game of the Interprovincial Series. The game will be live-streamed on Access Munster. Sign up for just €4 here.

Munster A beat Connacht Eagles 57-19 last week and have drawn with Leinster twice and beaten Ulster at home. Their only defeat of the campaign so far was the away fixture against Ulster.

On the injury front ahead of Saturday’s URC clash, there is good news for Fineen Wycherley (knee) as he returns to training this week.

Jack Crowley (leg) was a late withdrawal from the Ulster game but is available for selection this week.

Tadhg Beirne (knee), Tom Farrell (shoulder), Oli Jager (head), Jean Kleyn (biceps) and Calvin Nash (hamstring) are all unavailable this week after being replaced during the win over Ulster.

Roman Salanoa played 20 minutes as a replacement for Munster A in Friday’s win over Connacht Eagles in Galway and moved a step closer to first team action.
