The Munster squad held a closed session in Musgrave Park today where both the Heineken Cup and B&I Cup squads trained in preparation for their weekend games.
Mike Sherry remains on the sick list with a bout of tonsillitis and was not at training today, while Paul O’Connell watched on from the side-lines resting after a heavy workload on Monday.
Rob Penney ruled Donncha O’Callaghan (knee) and Doug Howlett (shoulder) out of Saturday’s Heineken Cup encounter, while Keith Earls is still in contention and management will review his progress following the final squad session on Thursday.
