IRFU issue the AIL Fixtures for next season

Tough opening for Munster clubs in AIB First Division League

Difficult start for both Shannon and Garryowen in the AIB First Division League as they begin their campaigns with away trips to Ulster.

Due to the on going issues involving Dolphin/Young Munster and Dublin University/Galwegians not yet being resolved all these clubs were included in the fixtures for both the First and Second Division pending a resolution.

League holder s Shannon begin their defence with a trip to Eaton Park to face Ballymena, while Garryowen travel to face Dungannon.

U.L. Bohemian begin their campaign with a home tie against newly promoted Terenure College and Cork Constitution will face last season s beaten finalists Clontarf at Temple Hill. UCD will be away to either Dolphin or Young Munster.

There are two local derbies in the Second Division. Old Crescent and Thomond will meet at Rosbrien while UCC play new comers Clonakilty at the Mardyke.

Midleton start with a home tie against Suttonians and Highfield face a difficult task away to relegated Co. Carlow.

In Division Three relegated Waterpark face a difficult opening with three of their first four games away to Ulster sides. All the other three Munster sides in this Division all begin with trips to the Northern province.
