This will be the 20th time Munster have faced the French Top 14 side. This is a must-win fixture for both teams.
Loughman speaking about the game this weekend,
“This effectively is a knockout game for us, so getting that support in behind us, getting that atmosphere in Thomond Park is crucial, we want it to become real cauldron. It is massive for us, and we feed off the energy.
“I’m confident in how the team is going and where we’ll be in the next few weeks, it’s just those last few little touch ups. It’s always a tough game against Castres, big physical pack, confrontational upfront and then they have some electric players out wide and in the backs that can cause some real damage if we give a messy ball or give them opportunities. They are dangerous.”
