Munster led 17 – 14 at the end of an entertaining first-half with the capacity crowd of 25,600 getting plenty of entertainment despite the wind and rain.
The second half saw three points from Ian Keatley’s boot, with Ronan O’Mahony dotting down for a try, also converted by Keatley.

Munster played their first-ever game at the famous Cork venue with a sell-out crowd of 41,400.
Tries from Shane Daly, Simon Zebo and Diarmuid Barron, and three Ben Healy conversions gave them a 21-7 lead at the break, having had the benefit of the conditions at their back for the opening 40.
Mike Haley scored in the second half, Healy adding the extras which gave Munster the cushion they needed.
It was Munster’s first game against South Africa in 52 years and they had not beaten a South African side previously.
