Squad Update | Munster Prepare For Leinster At Croke Park

Roman Salana returned to action for Nenagh Ormond on Saturday.
The Munster squad have started preparations at the HPC ahead of Saturday’s URC round four clash against Leinster at Croke Park (5.15pm).
Along with the 23 players in URC action against Edinburgh at the weekend, there were also 20 Munster players in AIL action for their clubs, the most on a single weekend since 19 players lined out in January 2022.
Six players were in Munster derby action as Cork Constitution beat Nenagh Ormond 25-17 in Tipperary. Two-try Danny Sheahan, Eoghan Smyth, Dylan Hicks and Mark Donnelly played for Con with Hicks kicking a conversion and a penalty.
Roman Salanoa made his debut for Nenagh in his first appearance since 2023 after a huge amount of hard work in a lengthy rehabilitation period with Darragh McSweeney also in action for Nenagh.
Shay McCarthy scored two tries for Young Munster in their 28-26 loss in Clontarf with Evan O’Connell, Kieran Ryan, Fionn Gibbons, Jake O’Riordan and Luke Murphy also in action for the Cookies.
Ronan Foxe, George Hadden and Tom Wood helped Garryowen to a 37-14 victory over Instonians at Dooradoyle.
Conor Ryan, Ben O’Connor and try-scorer Gene O’Leary Kareem lined out for UCC in their 31-29 loss to Old Wesley.
Emmet Calvey and Oisín Minogue helped Shannon to a 37-31 home victory over Banbridge.
