Over 450 Munster supporters attended Rockwell College on Wednesday to watch the Munster Rugby men’s squad take part in an open training session.

The men’s squad are in Rockwell for a three-day training camp to complete the first block of the pre-season programme with the province’s Ireland internationals back with the squad this week.

The team will have a down week before the first game week of the season begins on Monday, September 1.

Supporters travelled from near and far to watch team training at the excellent facilities in Rockwell. The players and staff received a fantastic welcome – our thanks to everyone who came out to see the team.

Along with the training session, supporters were able to meet and greet the squad, with players signing autographs and posing for photographs afterwards.

It was the second open training session of the summer following last week’s event at Ennis RFC.

Throughout the 2025/26 season, Munster will host a number of open training sessions right throughout the province to give our supporters the opportunity to watch training and meet the players and performance staff.

The next open training session will be held in Castleisland RFC on Tuesday, 16th September (more details will be confirmed in due course).

There are two pre-season games in the coming weeks. Munster are away to Gloucester at 7.30pm on Friday, September 5th before a home game against Bath at Virgin Media Park on Friday, September 12th at 7pm.
