Cork Constitution failed to halt U.C.D's unbeaten run when they went down to the students 30-7 at Belfield.

Dolphin maintained their lead at the top of the Second Division, thanks to two late tries from Thomás O'Leary to give his side a 27-20 victory over Old Crescent at Musgrave Park. This defeat the third the Limerick side have suffered must be a big blow to their hopes of gaining promotion. Midleton recorded their third successive victory and moved into fourth place with a 26-18 win over Waterpark. Jeff Hitchmough kicked seven penalties for the East Cork side. U.L. Bohemian lost valuable ground, when they were held to a 15-15 draw at Thomond Park by DLSP. Thomond put back to back wins together, with their first home victory defeating Malone 23-12. A late rally saw Highfield go down to Terenure 25-22 at Lakelands, while the St. Mary's v UCC tie was postponed, due to several members of the St. Mary's side being hit by a flu bug.

In Division Three Clonakilty halted Connemara's winning streak, by holding them to a 6-6 draw at Shannon Vale. Sunday's Well bounced back with a 23-15 away win over Old Wesley and Bruff were unlucky to lose in Belfast against Instonians.

In Section A of the Munster Junior League, Crosshaven remain in pole position following a 54-5 away win over Fermoy. Second placed Kilfeacle also had an away win in a Tipperary derby against Clanwilliam on a 20-14 scoreline. Premier County neighbours Cashel remain unbeaten after emerging 16-6 winners over Charleville at the North Cork venue. In the Clare Derby at Shannon, Ennis Recorded a 22-7 away win over St. Senan's which leaves the home side rooted to the bottom.

In Section B leaders Skibbereen lost their place at the top, when a last minute try from Peter O'Donnell gave Clonmel a 10-9 victory. Youghal have now taken over as leaders after their 20-3 home win over Castleisland. Nenagh Ormond maintained their challenge, scoring eight tries in their 54-3 win at Kanturk. The Abbeyfeale v St. Mary's game was postponed.

In Section C, Bandon have joined Cobh Pirates at the top of the table after claiming maximum points from a 26-10 victory over Richmond in their own backyard. The East Cork side overturned a 6-3 deficit at home against Muskerry, emerging 13-6 winners. Third placed Old Christians kept their hopes of a Play-off place alive by putting up six points without reply against Thurles at Rathcooney. At Kilbarry a first victory of the campaign was up for grabs as Waterford City entertained Tralee. The Kerry side claimed that prize on a 19-6 scoreline.

In Division 3 leaders Douglas remain on top with maximum points after putting up 49 points without reply against second placed Carrick-on-Suir. Newport overtook their Premier County neighbours after defeating Killarney 34-3 in the Kingdom. Mallow kept their hopes of promotion alive with a 36-5 away win over Kinsale. At Tanner Park, Galbally were 12-6 winners over Ballincollig and Presentation had a 16-0 win over Dungarvan at the West Waterford venue. Newcastle West received a walk-over from Kilrush.
