The two largest categories of Magners League tickets, terrace and category B seated, have been reduced in price in Musgrave Park and Thomond park Stadium by 14.3% and 9.1% respectively, category B now priced at €30 with terrace tickets reduced to €20. These two ticket categories accounting for over 70% of available Magners League tickets.

Additionally Munster Rugby have focused on providing value for the family with three types of tickets, all being sold as season tickets for the first time. The existing Terrace Family Pack (2 Adults & 2 Children) has been reduced by €10 to €40 per match with season tickets available from €34.40 per family per match. Two new types of family ticket, trialed successfully this season will be introduced for 2011/12 and will be available as season tickets.  They are as follows:

Category B seated Family Pack (2 adults & 2 Children) costing €80 per match
Adult and Child Category B Seat costing €40 per match

Commenting on the prices Glyn Billinghurst, Munster Rugby Sales & Marketing Manager said "We felt it important to review our Magners League Ticket pricing, bearing in mind the current economic climate and financial pressures that we are all under."

"We also wanted to establish a family ticket package that provided real value whether in the terraces or the stand. We believe that the three packages that have been established will enable our younger supporters and their parents to have real choice and unbeatable value when attending Magners League matches in Musgrave Park and Thomond Park Stadium."

"In addition we are looking to provide our Ten Year Ticket Holders and Munster Rugby Supporters Club Members with a range of additional exclusive ticket offers through the season that will both reward their loyalty and provide opportunities for their friends and family to come along to the Magners League.  Further details of these will be available as we get closer to the new season."

Supporters can avail of 20%+ discounts on individual match prices by purchasing season tickets through the Munster Clubs or the Munster Rugby Supporters Club.
