Anticipation is building in the Munster camp ahead of the second half of the crucial Heineken Cup double-header against Perpignan.
Tomas O'Leary (broken thumb) has six weeks left in his recovery but Barry Murphy continues to be troubled by a hamstring injury that shows no sign of abating and Ian Dowling is another who is eyeing a return in early 2011.
Tom Gleeson who in the past has proven more than an able centre replacement is recovering from a broken cheek bone sustained in an AIL club game.
Munster have currently 11 players on the sideline either through injury or suspension, eight of those are backs, and seven of those are Heineken Cup squad listed.
Today the forwards trained in UL and afterwards Shaun Payne named a 28 strong squad for Friday's Magners League clash with Benetton Treviso at Thomond Park Stadium (19.45).
