Both Cork Constitution and Shannon won their respective derby games to remain first and second in the AIL League. Cork Constitution defeated Dolphin 11-9, while Shannon edged out Garryowen 28-15.

U.L. Bohemian have taken over the leadership in the Second Division after their 14-7 victory over main challengers Barnhall. Young Munster lost their top spot losing at home to D.L.S.P. 12-9. Old Crescent kept their hopes alive with a 17-3 victory over Terenure. UCC lost further ground losing away to Ballynahinch 25-20. Thomond also suffered defeat up North going down to Malone 33-13.

Midleton eased their relegation worries with a 6-3 home win over Trinity. Waterpark despite losing to a last minute try to Old Belvedere 23-20, picked up two bonus points and moved further away from bottom side Sunday's Well, who lost away to Bective Rangers 19-16.

Clonakilty lost to a late Instonians surge 13-9 in the Third Division.

Junior League holder's Bruff have joined Nenagh Ormond at the top of the table after their 40-3 home win over Old Christians and also picked up their first bonus point. Kilfeacle maintained their unbeaten run with a 14-11 win away to Nenagh Ormond. Clanwilliam edged out Bandon 23-19, while Crosshaven hung on for an 18-14 home win over Clonmel. Both Limerick clubs St. Mary's and Richmond stay bottom of the table, six points behind Old Christians. Richmond picked up a bonus point in their 10-6 defeat by St. Senan's, while St. Mary's lost 30-10 away to Youghal.

Cashel moved to the top of the Second Division after their 46-6 win away to Ballincollig. The top of the table clash between Tralee and Thurles was postponed to next week, due to a tragedy in the Tipperary club. Skibbereen and Muskerry maintained their challenge. The West Cork side defeated Ennis 21-3 and Muskerry had a 19-5 away win over Douglas. Waterford City and Charleville shared the spoils 17-17, while Castleisland are still in relegation trouble after losing 16-7 away to Kanturk.

Mallow maintained their top spot in the Third Division with a 13-9 win over fourth placed Newcastle West. Abbeyfeale moved into second place after they received a walk over from Dunmanway. Galbally defeated Kilrush 31-6 to go level with Newcastle West. Carrick-on-Suir picked up all five points from their encounter with Newport 27-6. Kinsale defeated Presentation 18-13 and Killarney had a 6-5 win at home to Dungarvan.

In the Munster Seconds League Division One, Cork Constitution have joined Garryowen at the top of the table after their 8-6 home win over the leaders. U.L. Bohemian had a one point victory over Shannon 13-12 and Dolphin defeated neighbours Old Crescent, while Highfield's 28-22 victory over Waterpark sees them go into second place.

Holder's Bandon will play Crosshaven in this season's Kelly Cup Final after Bandon over came Youghal in one semi-final and Crosshaven got the better of Old Christians.

The big game in the Under Twenty League between Young Munster and Buccaneers was postponed until next week. The Athlone-Ballinasloe based side need a victory to join Bruff, Corinthians, Cork Constitution, Garryowen, Sunday's Well, U.C.C. and U.L. Bohemian in the top section in Phase Two. While Young Munster must win and also their final game at home to Highfield to claim that spot.
