Varley Named in NZ Barbarians Side

Munster hooker Damien Varley, currently on tour with Ireland in New Zealand, has been made available by the Irish management to feature for the New Zealand Barbarian's this Saturday.

Damien Varley is joined by his Irish colleague, prop Tom Court, in the New Zealand Barbarians match day 22 for Saturday's clash against New Zealand Maori.

Both players will re-join the Ireland squad in Rotorua on Sunday as Ireland prepare for their own encounter against New Zealand Maori at Rotorua on June 18th.

The NZ Barbarian's take on the New Zealand Maori in the Northland Events Centre in Whangarei on Saturday June 12th, ko 4.35pm.

NZ Barbarians: Jared Payne, Bryce Heem, Rene Ranger, Ben Smith, Fetu'u Vainikolo, Colin Slade, Alby Mathewson, Peter Saiili, Slando Soakai (captain), Scott Waldrom, Kevin O'Neill, Josh Bekhuis, Charlie Faumuina, John Afoa, Jamie Mackintosh.

Reserves: Damian Varley (Munster), Tom Court (Ulster), Andrew Van der Heijden, Dean Budd, Rhyan Caine, Lachie Munro, Daniel Bowden.
