British & Irish Cup Defeat

Full-time in Camborne and a powerful Pirates display gives the home side the British and Irish Cup after defeating Munster 23-14.
The Cornish Pirates did the damage in the first half after 2 tries from centre Steve Winn and winger Rhodri McAtee. Jonny Bentley added 3 penalties and 2 conversions. Munster's Declan Cusack kicked 3 penalties and Danny Barnes added a late consolation try after a hard-fought fightback but Pirates prevailed winning 23-14 and claiming the inaugral B&I Cup.

Munster: Sean Scanlon; Danny Barnes, Tom Gleeson, Jeremy Manning, Simon Zebo; Declan Cusack, Duncan Williams; Dave Kilcoyne, Mike Sherry, Stephen Archer; Dave Foley, Ian Nagle; Billy Holland, Tommy O'Donnell, Peter O'Mahony capt.
Replacements: Sean Henry, Dave Ryan, Dave O'Callaghan, Paddy Butler, Conor Murray, Mossie Lawlor, Ronan O'Mahony.
