The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) is the governing body of the sport in Ireland.
In line with the IRFU Strategic Plan and the specific goal of revitalising the game at local level , we are now inviting applications for the new roles of Provincial Domestic Game Manager in each of the four Provincial Branches.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the delivery of agreed provincial strategic goals that focus on the development and expansion of the club and schools game. Their focus will be on building the structures, systems, programmes and facilities required that result in a quality and enjoyable domestic game for all participants.
The Provincial Domestic Game Manager will play an integral part of the planning and delivery of all programmes (Players, Clubs, Schools, Referees, Coaching, and Marketing/Promotion) as set out in the strategic goals of each Branch and the IRFU.
Reporting to the Branch CEO and the Branch Domestic Game Chairman the new Provincial Domestic Game Manager will have a thorough knowledge of Irish Rugby Structures and the game of Rugby Union. They will also have appropriate high level management experience and be comfortable operating in a professional/volunteer environment.
This is a senior position within provincial structures and an attractive remuneration package will be offered to reflect the importance of this role.
