Munster Women's Player of the Year and Ireland International Niamh Briggs recently visited schools and community groups in the Limerick southside area.
Niamh, employed as a Community Garda in the area, accompanied the 6 Nations Trophy to showcase to the young boys and girls attending Southside Junior school, Gaelscoil Southill, Galvone NS, Our Lady Queen of Peace NS and Our Lady of Lourdes NS.

Pupils were overjoyed with the opportunity to see the Championship Trophy and Niamh was inundated with questions from the young rugby enthusiasts about what it takes to play for Munster and Ireland.

The 6 Nations Trophy has been touring the province with Munster and Ireland representative women players over the past few weeks. For more information please email Women's Community Rugby Officer at amandagreensmith@munsterrugby.ie
