Munster's poor record against Glasgow Warriors continued when they went down 24-13 in Hughenden on Friday night. They trailed 14-6 at the end of the opening half but then conceded an early second half try after Dan Parks intercepted a Jeremy Manning pass just outside the Glasgow 22 and ran the length of the field for a try which he then converted.

Glasgow's spoling tactics earned yellow cards in the closing quarter for Frank Thomson and John Barclay and Tomas O'Leary score his side's try which replacement Eoghan Hickey converted.

However it was much too little far too late and Glasgow's first win in theis year's competition was fully merited.

Munster: S Payne (E Hickey); I Dowling, J Kelly, J Downey (M Lawlor), A Horgan; J Manning (B O'Meara), T O'Leary; D Hurley, F Sheahan (A Kyriacou), F Pucciariello (T Ryan); M O'Driscoll, C Wyatt (D Ryan) ; J O'Sullivan (A Quinlan), T McGann, A Foley capt.
