He represented Great Britain in 2003 and 2004 and then after a stint in Australia signed for Munster. He scored a try on his debut for them (v Ulster), was named in the Ireland squad for the trip to Argentina and scored a try in his international debut.
He was a member of the Ireland Rugby World squad, never got to play a game and yet was omitted from Ireland's RBS Six Nations squad.
