Contepomi kicked Leinster to a 9 nil lead, before O' Gara responded with a well struck penalty in the 23rd minute and another to follow in the 28th minute, 9 -6 to the home team. 

On the 40th minute Contepomi added to his tally, leaving it 12 - 6 at half time.  The break saw the end to O' Gara, with Paul Warwick coming on as replacement.

Contepomi and Warwick continued to add to the score board, and finally Jonathan Sexton sealed Leinster's win with a dropgoal in the 78th minute.
