The official opening of the new Thomond Park stadium will take place on November 18th when Munster and New Zealand go head to head after thirty years. To mark the occasion Adidas and Munster Rugby have joined forces to celebrate the very special match up.
Called 'It's more than just a game', the campaign was unveiled by Munster's Ronan O'Gara, Denis Leamy and David Wallace, along with All Blacks out half, Dan Carter, and All Blacks legend, Jonah Lomu.

Fans can log onto www.morethanjustagame.ie for details of exclusive competitions to meet and train with the stars.

A multi-sports skills session in Dublin on Thursday 13 November will be attended by some All Blacks and Munster players, plus a host of Irish adidas symbols including Alan Brogan, Joe Canning, Kieran Donaghy and Sean Og O Hailpin.

A rugby skills session, in Limerick, with Munster's Tony McGahan and a member of the All Blacks squad is also there to be won.

Alternatively register for the chance to win a VIP trip to the game, including match tickets, accommodation and Jonah Lomu as their host for the game.

While online, you can also view exclusive interviews with Dan Carter and Jonah Lomu, as they talk about the lead up to the game from an All Blacks perspective. Ronan O'Gara, Denis Leamy and David Wallace will provide some insights to the Munster player's thoughts on that 1978 game, and the prospect of the upcoming fixture in November.

Speaking about the campaign, Paul Moloney, adidas Ireland, said adidas is the only sports brand that can bring Munster and the All Blacks together, thirty years on from the historic game in 1978. The re-match promises to be a tantalising affair and adidas is celebrating the occasion with these once in a lifetime opportunities.  This is not just a game it's much more than that two great sides are coming together again to officially open Thomond Park and we want to inspire everyone who gets involved.
