The 2008 Munster Rugby Awards took place on Saturday night in the Silver Springs Moran Hotel, Cork, with the best of Munster highlighted and presented with awards at the gala evening, which was held in association with the Irish Examiner.  Present on the night were representatives accross the rugby network in the province as well as members of the Munster tean, with entertainment provided by hypno-magician Keith Barry.

Hall of Fame: Paddy Reid

Women's Player of the Year: Helen Brosnan

Referee of the Year: Peter Fitzgibbon

Senior Club of the Year: Shannon RFC

Junior Club of the Year: Ennis RFC

School of the Year: Castletroy College

Club Youth Section of the Year: Killorglin RFC

Club Mini Section of the Year: Bantry Bay RFC and Midleton RFC

Special Contribution Award: Tony McGrath Munster Rugby Supporters Club
