Positive News On Fogarty & Ronan

Neither Niall Ronan and Denis Fogarty, who were both forced out of the Llanelli Scarlets game with injury, have been ruled out of contention for a place in the squad for Friday's clash with Newport Gwent Dragons.
Fogarty looked the more serious of the two when he retired in obvious pain with a hand injury in the 49th minute but medical examination showed nothing broken and he, like Ronan (leg) may yet feature against the Dragons.

Denis Hurley who went over on an ankle in the game against The US Eagles is expected to resume training this week as is Barry Murphy who is recovering from an ankle operation.

Meanwhile in Bordeaux, Ronan O'Gara (bruised leg) and Girvan Dempsey (shoulder) sat out today's training session as a precautionary measure.

The contact session lasted over an hour and both Brian O'Driscoll (bang to the knee) and Jerry Flannery (shoulder stinger) were taken
off after picking up knocks.  Isaac Boss also received three stitches to a cut above his left eye. None of the injuries during the session
are serious enough to rule them out of selection for this weekend's game.
